What is a Seabag? A Seabag is a canvass bag that contains the “issue” for a sailor. A seabag list is the list of the required contents of the seabag. This is a list of all those items that a cadet will need for training. Usually, the first seabag list that a cadet uses is the list for Recruit Training.
